In 1949 "Buf" Hernan filled that void when he created the Kitchen Mart now known as Kitchen Works. Through the decades, our company has influenced kitchen design. The 50's Modern used accents of pink, turquoise, and black. Metal gave way to wood cabinets in the early 60's, and French Provincial arrived featuring scrolled overlay doors. Then the raised panel door was introduced. We embraced Mediterranean in the 70's. Those were the days of black, red, harvest gold, and avocado. The 80's Euro invasion combined white laminates with wood trim. Leading the way through the 90's was the shabby chic of Tuscan design. The new millennium has seen the international influence of Asian, Pacific Rim, and Euro Modern. We now continue our role as an industry leader with the introduction of culinablu living kitchens.
